THE FABULOUS FINE ART 4EVER SHOWCASE OF: AKUA N. KARIAMU

Akua N. Kariamu is a writer, visual artist, and music educator born and raised in New York and has been residing in Seattle for 10 years. Her family's Southern and in Guyanese roots make up a diversity of perspectives which she espouses as an artist and musician. Akua was a music consultant and instructor of violin for the Ladsonian Foundation. She has also guest taught for the Noel Pointer School of Music in Brooklyn. since relocating to Seattle she has taught for Langston Hughes Summer Performing Arts Institute, artis in Motion, and the Associated Recreation a Council division if Seattle Parks and a Recreation. She is a Pratt Fine Arts Poncho  Pathways Artist Fellow, and a teaching artist for Reel Grills. She currently runs her company Spirit Dance Coaching for Introverts and the Literary Violinist Studio. Her free time is spent planting food and creating music with her husband.

1. Who are you?

My name is Shurvon "shaynlicia" Haynes, Fine Arts Visionary journalist for Fine Arts By Shurvon and The Live ArtiFacts/ Fabulous Fine Arts 4EVER websites.

2. What is your specific fine arts practice?

I'm a Fine Arts Visionary, visual artists of original collage paintings, custom jewelry designer, write poetry and articles about Fine Arts.

3. When did you decide to be an visual artists and fine arts journalist?

I knew at a very young age that I would be a visual artists while I was in grade school making class art projects. It wasn't until 2004, when I started painting and writing more consistently.

4. Why is Fine Art important?

Because it is a form of visual expression for people to receive healing, understanding and appreciation for the creative gifts we all have.

5. What is your five-year visual arts plan?

To be a successful visual artists entrepreneur, expand my fine arts exhibition territory by developing a diverse portfolio of original fine art paintings in galleries and museums.

The Art of Fashion Designer Series

Fine Arts by Shurvon presents a preview image of the 1st painting from the brand new 'Art of Fashion' Designer Series for 2016.

There will only be three original collage paintings for this series, each painting will be of a lady and her gentleman wearing the fabulous fashion designer clothing styles that were popular:

1. "Before"- the 1600's. "heART of Mind"

2. "After"- 1970. "Black Love is Beautiful"

3. "Now"- in this year of 2016. "Love is NEW!"
